Lawn Services vs Doing it Yourself

Lawn Services depending on what you are using them for can be costly. Especially when living in certain areas of the country and considering the size of the area you want taken care of. In Ohio you can use lawn services year round with cutting grass, raking leaves, redoing parts of your lawn or landscaping, and finally snow plowing or shoveling.

Typically a grass cutting service can range from $30-$130 for your typical lawn services and not including businesses. If you think about it if you need your grass cut every week or every other week this cost of $30 or more can take a toll on your bank account. When thinking about the option of cutting your own grass, raking your own leaves, and plowing your own snow may be the cheaper option. In the beginning it may be a big cost to get a lawn mower, snow blower, or even the Frosty Chopper but in the end it will save you large amounts of money.

A lawn mowers costs can range from $100-$2,000 depending on the best option for you and your lawn and a snow blower can range from $300-$2,000. The Frosty Chopper costs around $500 which includes a snow blower and lawn mower...Two in One!

The issue with doing your lawn yourself could be time, storage, and maintenance. It is an expensive process in the beginning with doing your own lawn care but in the long run it can save you mass amounts of money. But, if you are having the issue of finding time to cute your lawn and you have the money to sustain that service to your bank account than maybe that is the best option for you! Your lawn will thank you either way but will your bank account?
